Milena Liutkutė - Grigaitienė
Contemporary Graphic Artist, Printmaker and Designer
My artistic goal is to slow down human thoughts and emotions in this fast-paced world. I create only when I feel I have something meaningful to express—observations that reflect the surrounding environment. I strive for a cohesive sense of artistic value in the home. Each object is a standalone work of art, embodying the fusion of traditional engraving craftsmanship and modern design. My creations bring art closer to people, allowing it to live, tell stories, and grow in value over time.
The core mission of my work is to maintain a balance between creativity and logic, inspiration and rationality, art and design. I create paintings, luxurious art gifts, and functional interior objects while collaborating with interior designers and manufacturers. Blue is the initial impulse, the starting point of my creative process, almost like an identity. Sometimes, it fades along the way, but I believe its energy remains.

First Acquaintance with Printmaking
"I visually present insights into life and states. I record observations in metaphors as a reminder to myself and others to strive for a better, lighter, happier self. The aspiration is a better emotional state, meaningful aesthetics, thoughtful function.Value for others? An impulse to act, to change. Psychotherapy with images. Meeting with the subconscious. Self-analysis. Calming down. An aspect of satisfaction with beauty."
