Ecology of Thoughts. It’s about inner clarity and one’s value system. A call to act responsibly, not only by sorting waste but also by carefully selecting our experiences, the information we consume, and the environment we surround ourselves with. Maintaining a healthy human climate is essential. Sustainable actions begin with thought, with awareness.

In parallel with the theme of ecology (a long-term ongoing process), thoughts focus on three consecutive global events (pandemic, division of opinions, war) – analyzing what happens to humanity at each stage, how important awareness is, and how these events are tightly intertwined. The illusion of security is examined in every aspect.

Often, an illusion of distant, seemingly untouchable problems is created, like unfinished matters – what we don’t see close by seems to not exist – a deep aspect of ignorance. The mirror’s reflection: Things are closer than they appear – a call to see oneself as part of the whole world’s chain of causes and consequences, and to act actively within it.

Excessive consumption and the abundance of waste raise the question, especially in light of global events: what is the true virus – COVID or people? An exchange is happening: COVID is a virus for humans; humans are a virus for the Earth. The pandemic temporarily halted warming, industry, and consumption, becoming a less relevant phenomenon. However, there is also an invisible side. Environmentalists remind us of the scale of disposable masks: every month, 129 billion single-use plastic face masks are used worldwide. That means every minute, we discard 3 million of these masks.

The installation creates a vibrant, fresh illusion of flowers and hearts. A reflective mirror reminds us that the problems are closer than they seem. Things are closer than they appear.
